How to Become a Delivery Partner: Documents, Vehicle and Steps

By the Parcilo Team••5 min read

If you own a bike, a 3-wheeler cargo auto, a Tata Ace or a pickup, a delivery app can keep it busy. Here is what you need and how onboarding works at Parcilo.

Documents you need

  • Aadhaar card, for identity verification
  • A valid driving licence for your vehicle class
  • Vehicle registration certificate (RC)
  • A bank account or UPI ID for payouts
  • A smartphone with internet and GPS

Which vehicles qualify

Parcilo works with 2-wheelers for parcels, 3-wheeler EV or CNG cargo vehicles, Tata Ace mini-trucks and 8ft pickups. You receive requests that match your vehicle type and are near your location.

Onboarding step by step

  1. Pre-register with your name, mobile number, city and vehicle.
  2. Our partner team calls you to complete KYC in the Parcilo partner app: upload your Aadhaar, licence and RC.
  3. Finish a short in-app safety training.
  4. Once approved, go on duty, accept trips in your area and verify each pickup and delivery with the customer’s OTP.

How you get paid

Your earnings for each completed trip are added to your partner wallet, where you can see every trip and withdraw to your bank account or UPI.

Tips for doing well

  • Stay on duty in busy areas during morning and evening peaks.
  • Keep your phone charged and GPS on so you receive nearby requests.
  • Call the customer if you cannot find the pickup point.
  • Handle parcels carefully: good ratings bring more trips.
